Yere1 is a project created in 2008. The initiators were Armen Petrosyan's (Mench) and Grigor Gasparyan. There were five seasons aired presented different situations and characters typical to nowadays Yerevan. The project is a SitCom itself. The format is highly appreciated and respected within televisions all over the world. The characters of sitcom find themselves in funny situations. Yere1 project immediately attracted the attention of Armenians all over the world, as here they saw characters who they could meet in their everyday life. Besides being humoristic, the project has also the social and educational notion. For example no one of the Latskanyans work. They live off handouts of their relatives from the USA. Luxurious and wealthy family of the Vipoyans considers Bentley as a masterpiece and Van Gogh’s canvas as an excellent present for somebody's party. The Curly and the Tall renovate houses and should you have ever repaired your house, you have met these liars surely. The Nahapetyans are hereditary. They could never imagine that their only heir is homosexual. Nver Koruptzyan earns money on an unjust way. And unfortunately, we have such lectors in our universities. Yere1 Producers hope that conscience and justice will rise in such lectors, and the rate of corruption will be reduced. Major Chagaryan is father of 5 daughters while all his life has been dreaming to have son. This is a rather actual issue in our society. We try to show the Armenian men that daughter is a child as well. Some positive changes have been made in the fifth season of the Yere1 project. You can follow the new series of the project every Friday with loved characters. But this is not the end as the team continues the work. We will present new characters and situations!
